STEP 3 : CHOOSE HARDWARE AND FOOT PADS

HARDWARE

Choose either the normal duty or heavy duty dock post mounting system components. Only Tommy Docks offers a choice of components for both normal and extreme water conditions. Use the heavy duty diameter dock post mounting system components if the installation site includes:

• Strong currents or winds
• Docking larger boats
• Heavy boat activity
• Water depth over 8'

FOOT PADS

• Use standard foot pads for hard lake bottoms (sand or gravel)
• Muckpads are designed for soft lake bottoms (muck)
• Use auger feet for soft soil lake bottoms that extend 12' deep or more
  • Auger feet may also be used to stiffen the dock in areas with high winds or boat activity
