Dock Hardware Built for the Long Haul

Every solid dock starts with the dock assembly hardware holding it together, and this collection is where you will find the pipes, brackets, and footpads that make it happen.

The bolts, screws, spacers, and additional accessories are all here too, so you are not stuck without the complete hardware kit. Choose your pipe, bracket, and footpad, add the matching hardware, and you are on your way to a dock that holds up year after year.

What is the best hardware for my Dock?

Normal Duty Hardware

Normal Duty hardware fits the average residential dock in calm water, giving you solid holding power for a standard build.

Heavy Duty Hardware

Built with thicker steel and brackets, heavy-duty hardware stands up to bigger waves, currents, and storms, making it the smart pick for larger docks.

Build Your Hardware Kit Your Way

With pipes, brackets, footpads, and all the connecting pieces in one collection, you can put together a kit that fits your exact build. Anchor a footpad to a rocky bottom. Brace a frame against a windy shoreline. Add another section next spring without starting over.

Every Tommy Docks part is built to fit the rest, and you can swap a piece out or expand the dock later. It's your dock, put the hardware together how it works for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Normal Duty hardware fits the average residential dock in calm, protected water like a quiet lake or sheltered cove. Heavy-duty hardware uses thicker steel and beefier brackets that tie into the dock's primary structure, so it holds up to bigger waves, current, boat wakes, and rough weather. If your water stays mellow most of the year, Normal Duty is the place to start.

Your footpad depends on what sits under your dock. The round 8-inch footpad holds firm on hard-packed soil or sandy lake beds, the square Muck Footpad spreads the load across soft or silty bottoms up to 12 inches deep so your posts don't sink, and Auger Feet screw down into loose ground for a locked-in hold.

Most Tommy Docks footpads, brackets, and accessories pair with the 1-1/4-inch Normal Duty pipe, which measures 1.66 inches in outside diameter. Each product page lists its compatible pipe size and part number, so you can confirm fitment before you order.

Each bracket handles a different connection point or hole on your dock frame. The "A" bracket is for outside corners, the "B" bracket joins straight runs, the "C" bracket fits 2-way inside corners, and the "D" bracket handles 3-way inside corners.

Yes, no dock construction project needed. Our systems are built for DIY assembly with no cutting required. A weekend, basic tools, and a helping hand are all you need.

The Winch Leveling System and Leveling Hook let you raise, lower, and square up your docking points once the posts are in place. For auger feet, the Auger Wrench helps you turn them down into the bottom by hand, and the installation instructions on each product page walk through the setup.
